It worked on the LNER from its base at Neville Hill depot at Leeds.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eFollowing being returned to USATC stock it was shipped to France in September 1944. After the end of the Second World War 2253 was bought Polish State Railway and became TR203-288. It was brought to Britain from Poland in 1992 following a major overhaul, running on the NYMR for the next 10 years.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAfter being cosmetically restored on the NYMR it was loaned to the National Railway Museum and put on static display at Locomotion Shildon as part of a Second World War display.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe locomotive took part in the 2019 Annual Steam Gala before heading to its new home at the Dartmouth Steam Railway.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eOmaha has now returned to NYMR and has been converted to run as an oil fired steam locomotive.\u003c\/p\u003e","brand":"North Yorkshire Moors Railway","offers":[{"title":"Default Title","offer_id":48449053688026,"sku":"5060017633849","price":5.5,"currency_code":"GBP","in_stock":true}],"thumbnail_url":"\/\/cdn.shopify.com\/s\/files\/1\/0648\/2470\/5242\/files\/BadgeOmaha.png?v=1787137906","url":"https:\/\/shop.nymr.co.uk\/products\/5060017633849","provider":"North Yorkshire Moors Railway","version":"1.0","type":"link"}
